The External Databases module allows you to import substance information from third-party substance databases into the database. You can include substance information from BIG, AZH, DGZ and/or ChemWatch.
When incorporating substance information supplied by third parties, you can decide which substances you are recording. The BIG database contains information about more than 20,000 substances with more than 350,000 synonyms. SOFOS 360® gives you the opportunity to take substance information from the BIG database into clusters of 100 substances so that you can import them. Depending on your needs, you can decide for yourself at which time you want to include the substance information in SOFOS 360®. In other words, you put your own cluster together when it suits you best.
The fact that a license is made up for clusters that are 100 substances in size is of course to you benefit. This way the cost is significantly lower than when you should purchase the entire database.
For general hospitals, the database AZH (general hospitals) is available. This External Database also contains more than 4,000 substances.
The flexibility to import different fabric databases into one database-SOFOS 360®-Offers the following advantages:
You can create your own mixture as well. The classifications and risks (H and P phrases) will be checked in an external database. Therefore, the substances you use in the mixture must be listed in a database.
